The Honourable Richard Prebble, MP, CBE - Deputy Chair
Former leader of ACT New Zealand, Richard Prebble was, in the fourth Labour Government, Minister of Transport, Aviation, Railways, Pacific Island Affairs, Broadcasting, Works and Development, SOEs, Police, Associate Minister of Finance and Postmaster General. He is well recognised as one of the architects of the Labour government’s programme of economic deregulation. He also headed the country’s privatisation programme and served on the key Cabinet Committee overseeing economic policy and labour.
